Waist Training 101

What is Waist Training

Waist training is a process of waist reduction using a waist trainer, cincher or corset. When worn daily with physical activity. A waist trainer will gradually reshape your waist into an hourglass figure by compressing and repositioning the body fat. This practice came to prominence during the victorian times and remained relevant because of its proven results. After 30 days you will notice a significant difference in your mid section. Results may vary.

Benefits of Waist Training

Waist Training Checklist

  •  The garment is going to feel uncomfortable until you get used to it. This is why you gradually build to  wearing the trainer for longer periods of time.

  • Your waist trainer should fit tight enough that you are able to pull your waist in on the 1st set of hook closure.

  • It should have enough structure to not roll over the waist (this is a sign the waist shaper is too small).

  • Your waist trainer should not interfere with your breathing and you should not experience any pain.

  • The shaper should close properly with no bulging.

  • Always break in your waist trainer for a more comfortable fit.

How to Care for your Waist Trainer

Hand wash your waist trainer in lukewarm or cold water gently with mild shampoo or detergent.

Let your waist trainer dry out in the open on a rack or hang to dry.

Wash your waist trainer at least three times a week. Never put your Waist Trainer inside a washing machine.
